In neighboring Monroe, Mystic Hot Springs lets you soak in mineral water, including in its famous antique bathtubs. It is a memorable, one-of-a-kind outing.
4. Explore Fremont Indian State Park
Fremont Indian State Park and Museum protects one of the largest known prehistoric Fremont village sites. The rock art trails make for a great afternoon walk together.
5. Try something adventurous at Big Rock Candy Mountain
The colorful slopes of Big Rock Candy Mountain, south of Richfield, offer rafting, ziplines, and a via ferrata for couples who like a little adrenaline. Plan it for the afternoon, then come unwind with us in the evening.
6. Make a day of Capitol Reef
For a bigger adventure, Capitol Reef National Park, near Torrey, is a beautiful day trip with sweeping views and desert rock. Pack a picnic and watch the light change on the cliffs.
